Hon. Yacqwub Mohamed Siyaad Delivers Remarks on National Security

The 34th session of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Somaliland, chaired by President Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi (Cirro), was held today at the Presidential Palace in Hargeisa.

During the meeting, Hon. Yacqwub Mohamed Siyaad delivered remarks on the state of national security, stressing that peace and stability remain the cornerstone of progress and national unity. He emphasized:

“Security is the backbone of the nation’s existence. Without stability, there can be no sustainable economic growth or social development.”

He also commended the continued efforts of the Ministry of Interior and the security institutions, while encouraging greater cooperation between citizens and security forces to ensure the country remains safe from any potential threats or unrest.
