State Minister of Security Munasar Abdirahman Attends Cabinet Meeting and Votes for the 2026 National Budget

The State Minister of the Ministry of Security of the Republic of Somaliland, Munasar Abdirahman, attended today’s meeting of the Council of Ministers, where the 2026 National Budget was approved.

The newly endorsed budget amounts to 4,584,959,018,356 Somaliland Shillings, reflecting an 11% increase compared to the previous year. This rise indicates expanded national planning and financial growth.

All members of the Cabinet who were present voted in favor of the budget, except for one minister, whose name was not mentioned in the official statement released by the Somaliland Presidency.

The approved budget will serve as the foundation for implementing the government’s development, security, economic, and public service plans for the year 2026.
